We were born in the Netherlands, in 2025.
Not because the world needed another furniture company. But because we kept asking ourselves one question:
Why does furnishing a home have to be so complicated?
You move. You measure. You worry about whether that sofa will fit through the stairwell, whether that desk will match the next apartment, whether you'll still like that dining table three moves from now. So you postpone. You compromise. You live with empty rooms and borrowed chairs.
We thought: it doesn't have to be this way.
We started in&out living to make furniture simple.
Simple means well-made — solid materials, honest craftsmanship, pieces that feel good to touch and sturdy to sit on. No gimmicks, no unnecessary frills.
Simple means flexible — rent it first, buy it later. Keep it as long as you need, return it when you don't. No strings, no guilt.
Simple means portable — furniture light enough to move, strong enough to last. Pieces that travel with you from apartment to apartment, city to city, chapter to chapter of your life.
We're a small team based in the Netherlands. We design, we build, we listen. We're not trying to sell you a "forever home" aesthetic. We're just trying to make your current home — whether you'll be here for six months or six years — feel a little more like yours.
